The team that first proclaimed the return of the CRPG before anybody else is now hedging their bets on a bold new style of game based on the great adventures from Sierra On-Line and Lucas Arts!

Reports of the death of the graphic adventure genre have been greatly exaggerated! Team Jihad believes they are on the cusp of an incredible breakthrough combining the best elements of arcade platformers, comic books, Sierra-style adventure games and classic roleplaying systems!

We are currently working on the AGL Designer Studio in order to implement a new series of roleplaying games that have almost all of the best qualities from these genres merged into a single thrilling new type of experience!

These games will have awesome arcade action elements in fantastically detailed high color hand-drawn smooth scrolling worlds. They will also have real inventory management, true RPG character interaction, genuine storylines replete with full character dialogues and multiple character players which are controlled either singly or as a party! The emphasis (as with all Team Jihad games) will be on story, detail, atmosphere, exploration and problem solving!

After five years of working on one roleplaying game, Team Jihad is now planning to release six games inside of an 18 month period, five of them from the AGL Studio. Our vision is of a revived shareware games market where we have the tools to release high caliber low cost supremely satisfying products on an almost monthly basis, much like the pulp comics industry during the golden age of the 1960's.

These AGL games are being developed in tandem with Grimoire and Grimoire II and they represent a totally different style of roleplaying adventure that Team Jihad is seeking to create as a wholly new creature in the marketplace.
